  • Gymnasium progress-- resuming construction date, expected completion date, full scope of project upon completion
  • Working with Georgia Department of Corrections for jobs related to the gymnasium we may not be able to fit into the current budget
  • Meeting with Newton Federal about homeownership assistance possibilities
  • Explanation of Porterdale's selection for a downtown fellowship through the Georgia Municipal Association and the Carl Vinson Institute of government
  • Brief update on the land and water conservation grant, the kayak launch/recreational trails program, the TE grant (depot interior and trail), USDA sewer project, 2013 $500,000 CDBG application
  • Our options for establishing and implementing design guidelines for a local historic district in light of our disappointing grant denial by the state historic preservation division-- potential use of Nina Kelly from NEGRC
